  1. I don't think it looks any better in my opinion, it looks very old and outdated. The buttons are horrible and look very unprofessional, perhaps it's just the shape of them.. The orange is making my eyes hurt but it's cool that you can change the colours quickly at the top.
  2. The grammar in those kick messages is shockingly bad.
  3. Exactly. They are so used to it, when the actual earthquake was happening.. most of them were probably like "meh, another one. such an inconvenience to my day". Then you get all of the crazies and bible bashers saying the planet is going to disappear into oblivion at any second.
  4. Utter baloney. The bible also says "God" created the universe and placed Adam and Eve on Earth to populate it but we (and scientific evidence) all know that didn't happen (that story also promotes incest.. "Gods" beautiful work huh?). 2012 will be a year like any other year, unpredictable and eventful yet the planet will continue to turn and the sun will still shine. The whole thing about the supermoon will have happened millions of times throughout history and we're still here aren't we? There is always some crazy fool thinking the world is going to end next year because the aliens will destroy us, because the planets align or the devil walks the earth.
  5. Meh, that's nothing! I used webchat to take over rooms.
  6. Mac isn't better than Windows, and Windows isn't better than Mac. Both equally have their good points and bad points. I've owned several iMacs and Mac Book Pro's and the quality of the hardware is excellent and far exceeds any laptop/desktop quality. Although the downsides are the specifications - some PC's have double the specification of an iMac and is half the price. The hardware in iMac is difficult to upgrade and they don't make it easy to remove the cover to gain access to the components. The good thing about any Mac is you're able to dual boot Windows on it, so you won't have to keep your PC for using those Windows-only applications, unless you want to. OSX is extremely reliable and fast. I've gone months without the need for a reboot and has only ever crashed once in the years I've used it. If you've never used a Mac before, it's quite a jump moving from Windows to OSX and it does take some time getting used to it. Microsoft has it's own Mac version of messenger, as mentioned in a previous post.. and also has Office for Mac. If you know someone who has a Mac, it would probably be best trying it out first to see what you think of it before purchasing - perhaps even visit an Apple shop to mess around with it. It would be a lot of money to waste on something you may not like using.
  7. I don't have to prove myself and I wouldn't want to hijack the thread.
  8. I wouldn't waste my time, especially not on Buzzen anyway. The last client I made was an almost identical clone of one of MSN's staff clients (based on Koach's screenshot), purely to pass some time when I was bored out of my mind.
  9. Urgh. More useless crap to clog up the internet. Just when you thought Buzzen couldn't get any worse, they continue to outdo themselves.
  10. Hi Anyone know where I can find an ASP or ASP.NET irc client? Tried searching on Google but couldn't find much. Thanks
  11. Until the chat services are back, we'll just have to revert back to the 1910's way of entertainment and gather around the piano, cracking bottles of ale.
  12. Sorta off topic here.. but those who don't know, E is usually omitted from words ending in 'ing'. Example: "Jokeing" would become "Joking". Example: "Useing" would become "Using". Example: "Haveing" would become "Having". If in doubt, consult dictionary.com. Sorry but that annoys me as much as finger nails screeching down a chalk board.
  13. Buzzen's website has too many bugs [in my opinion], it requires me to call upon a nasa scientist just to get signed in. Using a bot such as this, and still have the look and feel of webchat would make life far much easier, eliminating the hassle for using mirc also! Can't wait to see more features
  14. Off topic but theres some seriously talented people on deviantart.com.
  15. haha theres nothing standard about buzzens server. whois dont even work im actually surprised you can '/AWAY Reason' in buzzen and not get a 'unknown command' error
  16. Nothing to loose anyway. If I get stuck in that endless reboot phase, atleast it'll give me an excuse to format (I've been lacking on the spring cleaning lately. My C drive looks worse than a crazy cat lady's home)
  17. Should I upgrade to XP SP3 or not? Is it really worth it or am I going to be trapped in endless problems?
  18. i agree and well said. its just that dennies intellectual skills make this debate all the more funnier. its like hes trying so hard to be professional but cant quite grasp the concept of it. it doesnt scream out professionalism when hes publicly arguing with someone else about his site - no wonder he hasnt got any chatters, poor thing. hes driving potential chatters away
  19. lol i don't think i've ever seen a host that lets you purchase a domain now, and register it later
  20. i've purchased domains before and they get registered instantly lol this thread has moved from being childish to hilarious.
  21. ok dennie.... you say goodhosted was paid before wcn closed down. on April 6 2008, wcn closed down, according to this thread. on April 7 2008, according to a domain registrar, goodhost.com was PURCHASED AND REGISTERED 1 DAY AFTER wcn closing. you're not covering your tracks well dennie
  22. okay fair enough. but theres something i dont understand.... maybe you can make it clearer for me when wcn closed because of 'lack of funds', i assume you werent able to afford hosting and such. why didnt you cancel your hosting subscription with your provider rather than OPEN a brand new website called 'goodhosted' and incur in further charges such as domain registration etc? im no expert but if i had a website, and couldnt afford to keep it running, i would take the website offline and cancel my hosting; NOT keep my hosting provider (and still get billed each month) and open a new website. you own like 30 domains, everyweek i see a new domain being created by you. interzurf.com/.net/.org/.eu ; wcn-chat.com ; wcnchat.com ; goodhosted.com/.org/.eu/.net ; icu-chat.com ; SpritZRadio.com/.net is your staffs 'donations' paying for all those other domains aswell? also, on the goodhosted website... did you know it was illegal to remove the copyright on your shopping cart pages (http://goodhosted.com/shop/) , according to the "SHOP-SCRIPT" licence. refer to: http://www.shop-script.com/php-shopping-ca...-1-license.html
