  1. Bummer...I have a PC running Windows Vista, and they have the checker pending for this OS until further notice at the given website.
  2. I don't quite buy the statistics measure, and I won't be swayed by them easily. You know, some people like Japanese cars, some like European cars, and some like American cars. At the end of the day, it's a matter of preference.

    Chatcore

I know this volunteer position will attract those power-tripping minded people to apply. This reminds me of the old MSN days where lots of chatters apply to be a room host, wasting their lives to monitor chat rooms where they were never appreciated and liked. And the turnover rate was very high, because that chat manager Vickie was a classic example of power tripper. I'm glad those days were over and became part of my memory. Again, I'm not against those who're interested in spending their time to help develop a chat network. This is just my rant is all.
  4. It does smell like a personal vendetta just by reading the article...
  5. Sounds tempting. Do you guys think I should ditch Firefox for Chrome?
  6. Gilliam, you might want to check the update again, because it's supposed to show 7.0.1, not just 7.0.
  7. You mistook \b for /b That was where you got messed up in the first place lad.
  8. Adding to err0r's suggestion, you can include the -l switch for your set command. The -l switch makes it local: set -l %a value set -l %b value This makes them function exactly the same as the /var option. The -l switch is undocumented.
  9. Making a password as easy as 123456 is a surest way to get hacked. I'm sure this is a common sense everybody should know already.
  10. If you happen to use AVG's link scanner, you should be protected, as it will block the malicious website upon landing and ask to proceed or close it. It's a must-have browser add-on every should install when browsing online. It works similarly as Mcafee's site advisor but AVG's is way better in my opinion.
  11. I just realize Osama and Obama rhymes pretty well. lol
  12. I read that this may be a governmental conspiracy of some sort. We have no certain knowledge to approve of Osama Bin Laden's death being a real deal until the Al Qaida admits it or Obama administration publishes the actual photos of the deceased Osama. I cam imagine the chances are bleak. Until then, God bless America.
  13. Gee...fortunately I never purchased anything via PlayStation Network. lol
  14. This is Micro$oft's strategy to coerce people to shift to Windows 7? Most people I know are not big fans of IE anyway.
  15. My bad. I didn't test the regex pattern earlier. I think the edit should work.
  16. You can use regex's negative look ahead: /(?!\.|\^|-)##\*.*\*##/If you mean that you want to ignore both the symbol "^." and "^-." This pattern should do the trick. The dot and the caret symbol are to be escaped because they have special meanings in regex.
  17. It will match one character to exclude the "-" symbol and disregard the rest from the start of a string. The /g modifier means to match more than one match respectively. The /S is to strip control codes, mainly work for mIRC and not a standard regex modifier.
  18. Talk about endless holes and more to dig in the future.
  19. I'm not too certain what my English professor would say if I used LOL and OMG in my essay...
  20. While I'd love to upgrade to Firefox 4, many add-ons I currently have installed will be disabled until they're made to be compatible with the latest Firfox version.
  21. I put my PC on standby when I'm not using it. It's a touch away to get it back on and running.
  22. Ahahahahahahaha /me laughs hysterically.
  23. Sony should hire him. He can be a great asset to the company.
  24. While I respect the fact that both husband and wife shouldn't take each others' privacy for granted, but getting legal proceedings and a divorce is ridiculously uncalled for.
