TroN-0074
I have seen that the scripts with the vincula conecction comes with the rejoin when kicked option. ik000ike
just look in mirc option , in the tree select irc , tick rejoin when kickt , keep channel window open . no need to put extra addons in your script if it works without
Absorbx_o
I suppose thats another way of doing it lol, guess people would rather not do it that way because every script ive seen rejoins on kick not using the standard mirc option
Pete®tje
I wonder what would be the reason for that... Seems a bit weird to code functionality that is already present.
Mr_S
My own script uses the ticked command - Do you think the code works quicker then the tick option?
Pete®tje
I expect the built in stuff to work faster than the coded. Never tested it anyway.
Ozzy10
It saves time messing with some of the settings sometimes its easy to forget something like the rejoin when kicked when you are making a new script but if its in your coding , you just copy and paste
Mr_S
lmao - i guess thats answered that - Good point to ozzy. Plus if when your making a script - its generally a good idea to leave most of that section alone incase you leave things in there you dont want them to see... (or shouldnt have in there in the first place)
