Waking up the good ole threads! Lets see some more SS's, rather it be windows, linux, bsd, whatever, even workstations!

Linux has, flowering-x, epic, epicII, IrcII, irssi, scrollz, and more... Also if you like mirc, find crossover (the free version) they gave out a few months back. Itll run mirc 99% only thing i found it wont work is the numbered setup in the editor. can code most anything that doesnt rely on windows API, sockets, etc, etc...

SS or desktop using Openbox WM instead of Gnome... Cleaner IMO

Fedora instead of Ubuntu and i got crossover working, here is mirc running almost 100% in it...

wine works fine, mirc just doesnt notice when its disconnected for some reason.

well come to find out Ubuntu has 'so called' features to stop hacking, blah blah and some programs including wine dont run at full potential... SO i am gonna swap to Gentoo or Fedora10 tonight or tomorrow and see if that fixes a few things... + Ubuntu will not install and build the newest ruby... i hate SELinux

would that work on every server :/ ill sure throw that in and see if it helps... I have tried notifing, ping, and a few more but it seems that mirc doesnt notice when i disconnect
