So what are the new features? Do the dialogs support unicode now? You can support italics now? What do you like or hate about mIRC 7.1?

7.1 which is a non beta release is pretty nice. While it's out of beta you can still expect some bugs. Khaled is fixing any major bugs pretty quickly. Yes the dialogs do support unicode however using any of the major dll's while trying to use unicode characters will end in fail rather quickly. Listview especially. Controlling mirc menus with dcx will also be an issue with this version. Hopefully at some point the dll makers will address this but i wouldn't get my hopes up for anything soon. I've been using it since it was in beta version and I like it. 7.1 does not have an actual modal log viewer but there will be one.. In beta 7.1.1 khaled has put in a modal log viewer. 7.1.1 beta also allows you to turn unicode support in messages on and off which isn't offered in 7.1.
