its nothing to do with running as admin

i use scripts and run as normal user (NOT ADNIN) and they work fine

its to do with the path to the files thats the problem

That's why I gave the alias ff code so that the path would be found. However, Dippy says it doesn't work, and he runs Vista. I tried his nicklist on my system running the same version mirc as Dippy does, mirc 6.31, and it works on XP. So, the code is finding the files, but since Dippy says it isn't working that means it has to be something else then.

Oz', sometimes, dunno why, maybe depending dll used or others things or mirc versions, I have some pb if I don't run mirc as administrator on Vista... (tested for mirc 6.03 up to 6.16).

 

About the nicklist code here, I seen that Rebar is used -> alias rebar { dll $ff(rebar.dll) $$1- }

This DLL no longer work on mirc versions with the new mirc treeview. It's possible to use dcx instead to be able to dock dialogs/windows on latests mirc versions (last dcx embeded last rebar).

rebar works fine on all versions of mirc and with vista

i still use it in my scripts
