ok I have a small internet radio http://djmartin.listen2myradio.com/ nothing special just a basic free player from shoutcast as you can see and I paid to have the adverts taking away ... but I was looking at this http://premiumpay.listen2myradio.com/billing/cart.php?gid=8 and the one below is what im looking at but I dont know anything about MySQL or Cpanel or come to that everything that is listed lol and that is why I am asking for your help and advice and if someone could explain it to me that would be great ... as always thank you for any replies on this one

mySQL is the name of a very popular open sourced database. Most often used in relation with PHP. Unlimited just means you can create unlimited (duh) mySQL databases. If you are just using this hosting for your radio then you won't need these. Likewise cPanel is a popular control panel used to manage your web hosting. From this panel you can setup databases, email accounts, ftp accounts, use a file manager etc etc etc. This is possibly a little overkill for just managing a shoutcast server but it does give you head room for the possibility of setting up a website/forum/blog etc in the future.

first of all thank you for the replies ... iv been looking about the internet and internet radio's i.e in buzzen, spcn, ect and while I was in buzzen I took a look at apache radio and that looks good and also while I was in spcn I clicked there unleashed radio and that looks good to and that is the kind of thing im looking for but more basic as im sure they would cost me an arm and a leg to get one like theres ... I dont want to be throwing money at something I will not be able to work if you get my drift well im sure one of your fella's will put me right so again thank you fro any replies to this one

Something like http://shoutcast.serverroom.us/ might be a good option if you want to just do a radio. Google 'Shoutcast Hosting' to have a look at other options. There are plenty out there
