Here is my small project that will probably NEVER get finished lol.

The toolbar is non-functional at the moment.

The info bar you see is fully working. Usage:

    /info <type> <static?> <message>

/info information static You have been marked away. To cancel, close this notification.

It has many different icons for personalized messages:

Chat - For highlights, other channel evens you want notified of.

Alarm - This could be used for a script alarm.

    Critical - A critical error.

    Error - Minor error.

Information - Any type of general information.

Question - If the script has a question for input.

    Success - Action success.

It does disappear automatically after 10 seconds. (I might make this so the scripter can specify the timeout.

The close button to the right is stuck where it's at for now... I plan to fix this so it will move when the window is resized horizontally...

This is the beginnings of a script I will write for myself and might release... doubt I'll release though lol -- I never have before.

    Comments/flames/suggestions?

  2. I've actually noticed a slight drop in my frames per second on Vista. Vista runs a lot more background processes for the OS than XP ever did. I've also noticed that I can get 30FPS on my game with all graphics maxed (4X Anti-aliasing) and once I minimize that game and look something up on the internet and then go back to my game I've dropped down to 5FPS in the game with the graphics maxed. Once I take my anti-aliasing down to none it will run just fine again. It's quite frustrating.

  3. Firefox:

    x = Firefox feature
o = Similar feature to Opera
    [x] Integrated Search
    [o] Speed Dial Feature
    [x] RSS Feeds
    [x] Integrated IRC Client
    [ ] Mouse Gestures
    [x] Blocked Content
    [x] Phishing Filter

not that I care of course lol... I use both browsers :P

  4. I'm not a widget type of person... I do like the idea of Opera having Widgets though. I know you can put them on your desktop too, but I guess I prefer having stuff integrated right into the GUI of the browser. I still use Opera occasionally here and there, though :P

  5. I have to agree with err0r... I used Opera for a good half of a year and I loved it -- it's a great and fantastic browser. However, I came back to Firefox because of the add-ons and extras I can put on it. I can't live without the Web Developer toolbar in Firefox.

After I switched back to Firefox, I did miss some features in Opera so I set out to find some add-ons that worked similarly to Opera... I immediately downloaded a sidebar add-on so I could have my bookmarks listed on the side of my webpages just like I had in Opera lol.

I think Firefox is more directed to those who like to develop websites, Opera is more directed towards those who want a really good surfing experience with good security, and IE is directed towards those who need to learn how to switch their browsers :P

  6. No I mean where the stylus is located. The live phone we have in our Sprint store just has a spot for the stylus on the right side of the phone. I've had many customers buy the HTC Touch from us and was very lost as to how the phone really worked and how to navigate through menus. (It's not that they weren't stupid, it's just that it's not an easy navigational system and lots of things/features are sort of buried in the phone)

  7. Was late for work lol had to be quick and to the point :P

I hate the interface. on the iPhone I can actually use my thumb to hit the numbers to call someone. On the HTC, my thumb is too big to dial any numbers. I hit more than one so then I have to use the stylus. Even then I hold the phone in my right hand and I use my left hand to reach on the right side of the phone to pull the stylus out to hit the numbers because I am left handed -- not right handed.

When exiting an application on the phone, I have to press the exit button more than once -- it takes forever to close them. I could never use it as a phone. Now if I had a Centro........now we're talking B)

  8. There's a few ways you can go. There's an addon somewhere around here if you look deep enough (see end of post) that lets you use emoticons in chat. It will take some editing probably. You could also go with picture windows if you don't want to use a dll. The use of drawpic and drawscroll will be your friend. There's also another way of doing it... Just use a webchat if the server has it :P

Both are kind of old - I have no idea if this will work for the most current version of mIRC
