To make a server that people actually connect to, you're going to need to have a good knowledge of a programming language such as C++ to make one. That or you could get OfficeIRC --> http://ircxpro.com/products/default.asp?product=server

Do you mean custom scripts? Most of us don't have a 'server'. The server is what you connect to. E.g. Koach.com, Buzzen, VSIXc, Phreik, etc... We make scripts through the mIRC scripting language. See here-> http://www.mirc.com/

I've always used a theme that looks similar to MSN Chat -- I am very familiar with it and I think it's easy on the eyes. So... I've made a theme that works for me. Not very original, but it's mine and I like it lol

Okay, scratch that! I got it working. I had to put the /window -a on a timer.

That doesn't seem to work, either Lindrian.
What I have is a dialog that opens up and then docks to the top of my mIRC window. When this happens, if I'm typing a message in a channel, my cursor focus goes to that dialog and I can't finish my message that I was typing.
I just tried adding window -a #TG007 to the dialog init, but that didn't work... I also tried minimizing the dialog once it opened and after it docked, that didn't work either.

So what if I said that isn't working for me?
On init for the certain dialog that is opening, it is also being docked in mIRC. Anyone have any solutions for that one? lol

Hey,
Is there any way I can open a dialog and keep my cursors focus on mIRC's channel window? Every time a dialog opens up while I'm typing in the channel, the editbox focus moves to that newly opened dialog instead of the mIRC channel. Is there any way I can keep my focus on the channel?

ozzy found a bug with DCX and the nicklist in Vista
I also replicated the bug... So DCX with the nicklist in Vista is a no-go! -
I think it's just something about going to a chatroom on MSN and seeing that chat control and orange (or purple) tab layout with all your friends sitting in the nicklist with little profile icons next to them or while they're in a cup lol... It would be nice to go back to those days
