Well Probably I am not the best person here giving you advices, since I have been having problems with the same script as you are.
But one important thing that you should do after you download the script and have it ready to go is.
See the script's menu bar, and click where it says Kenobi commands. Once you have displayed the commands list select Vincula main nenu and go to change vincula settings. Once there your choice would be the tag where it says passport.
Put your name, your nick, click the little box where it says leave the nick as it is. Then put your e-mail address and your pass (Don't you worry nobody will get your pass) then put your profile male if you are male or select there what best describes you
then click o.k.Then go to the room using the nick that you will use in the script and get the MSNREGCookie and the User Role for that nick( read the TG007' tutorial section to get those), once you get those go back to your script and go to the vincula main menu and select the option edit passport for.
paste there the MSNREGCookie click o.k and go back to the vincula main menu and select update passport info(fast).
Then go get your user role, go one more time to edit passport info and paste there the user role. Go another time to vincula main menu select join room (groups) click on the choice Normal put the name of your group in that windows it should looks like this g_nameofyourgrouphere. and click o.k.
If for some reason you didn't join the first time go to the vincula main menu and look for resent joined room and click the name of your room there.
the name of your room you can get it from your group e-mail address. just copy the bit just before the @groups.msn.com.
the next time that you use your script you won't have to do the passport info in the vincula settings. But you will have to go and get your user role and put it in manually since they (MSN people) changes it everyday.

When using a different script I always copied the whole line as MSNREGCookie. Then I copied the bit that start almost with 5AAAA at the middle and ends with a $. But for what I see your are saying that with kenobi I don't need the whole line instead I will have to break it in two parts. Do I include the name of the group in any of those part ???

First of all are you wanting to join Group chat or Msn Paid chat. I changed my connection to the Vincula 4.9 EZ Modified by IRCTECH_DJV Because it had the Group Join in with the connection. But since Ozzy updated Kenobi V4.0 here recently i doubt you have to change the connection. I Just added my passport and done a fast update and went and joined the room i wanted to join. No problems. Except for that little errOr i had with the away dialog. But all is fine now. I am using the group chat rooms. and I did update the vincula before ozzy did the update to the script. That was the way that I was able to join the room with kenobi. But I did find out that some of the commands won't work with doing that. For example the Nick list wasn't working.
Now that he did the update I think I should be able to join without having to change the vincula but I am having troubles with it

Do I have to get the vincula file from a different source if I want to use these scripts at TG007 download section
????Because I downloaded the SuperKicker and I see the same problem. It comes by default with the Cryton passport and I don't see the select passport to use option so I can't switch user.
Metamorphosis 5 is the same thing it comes with the Absorbx's passport and there is not a option to switch passport.
would you guys please share with us the way to get connected using those scripts

Hey Absorbx_o I just downloaded the V.5.0 of your script and still doesn't looks like the screenshot posted there and I can't connect it to my room. How can I select my passport to use ?? because when I do a update always ask me again for my passworld and when I type it I got at massage saying that I am not Absorbx_o.so I can't use my nick
also the vincula options such as update passport (fast) and the join option doesn't displayI had to make a copy of the vincula file from Hybrid Omega and pasted to Metamorphosys in order to join my room.
I just wanted to try it. looks nice though

I don't like to be picky about MSN but you are right. MSN Groups are not that good. Alot of weird stuff going on in there too.

Yeah that is very true. Alot of countries have nothing but the community group and they have no choice. Beside I when one time to a free Canadian chat room and all the chatters there started anoying me when they saw my profile and found out I was not canadian

But anyways what you do is select Join room(group)
then your choice will be Normal
then you will paste from the link this part

If you don't join at the first try. Go to vincula main menu and and select this time resent joined room

You maight think that is a little too early for me to give up trying to connect with IRCDominator XT But I already tried so many times and still can't make it work.The run time error that I got is '13' and it says type mismatch So I don't know.
I hope AG comes up with a tutorial or a demo.

Try the link of your room. If you can see it just do this.

the name of your group will be the bit on your group e-mail address.
as an example (your group name)@groups.msn.com
Try that and see what happens

make sure you get the cookies and user role corresponding to the passport that you have put in your vincula conection.
To do that you will have to joing the room first with that passport and get them manually. Remember to update your passaport once you have your cookies and user role. Do it so using the feature of update(fast).
If you are using a nick name with simbols remember to decode the nickname and put it on your vincula once is decoded.
Then get out of the room in orther to join it with your mIRC client. Make sure your client has a vincula conection update too.
