I find ClearMSN easier to use and better than vincula because allow me to join different rooms at the time, and even better I can join these room with different nicknames.
I am not working on any especific script so I am not doing any coding and I haven't tried ClearMSN on the MSN chat service only in group chat.
So ClearMSN has just what I need.

lol, if you downloaded smiliesview on it's own, there is no way it would work. Try downloading Web-ChatZ 4.1, that is a decent example of Smiliesview.
I did get that script is good too.

Well then.
I just downloaded the file from this site and uploaded it to the mIRC program without doing any coding. so I don't know why I couldn't see anything in the room only what I was typing.

I've already gotten the idea of coding returns in mIRC's default chat window. I couldn't think of any way to do it so I asked Ozzy and err0r to give a shot at it and they couldn't do anything with it either so the only other idea is to use smiliesview.dll and convert your default mIRC chat window into an .html page (about:blank) and then use $replace($1-,
,<br>) .. Simple enough
IF you use the smilesview that is here on TG007 is in french and for some reason when you get in the chat you can't see what other people is typing in the room.
The only thing that appear in your screen is what you typed and also a picture of Sara Michelle the vanpire slayer.

Well you can still put the encode nick for emoticons, and you will see them in your script if you are using Vincula.
But noone else in the room will see it beside you or maybe someone else using Vincula too.

I think is hard try to help to someone without taking a server as example.
Some people might consider that spam. But what else can be done. ???

I have downloades the SmilesView.dll addon and I uploaded to mIRC just fine.
It does show the smiles in MSN as well as in a IRC server just fine.
The only problem is that it comes with a picture that get on the main screen and then I could see what I was typing on the room but I couldn't see what people was typing back to my comments.
I deleted the pic and re started mIRC but this time the screen was white but still couldn't see peoples comments in the room.
So my question is for someone who got this file and set it up on their client how this is done ????
The girl on the picture is HOT by the way (It is actually a pic of Sarah Michelle "Buffy the Vampire Slayer")

No arguements about that.
But yes All IRC server no matter "X" or "d" Or wathever they are, they do have the the same modes unless they get set up differently.

I thought he was talking about Chanmodes. As far as I know noone here is a MSN staff member to be talking about their Usermodes with us.

Some of these modes that Webagent had posted here mean something different at the MSN chat rooms though. Or a least I don't know but as example
+i means invited only at MSN chat room.
+h means hidden
+s turn the room secret
+t anyone can change the topic
+w no whispers
+ etc, etc, etc.
So I don't really know how to set these other modes. Or are they for admin only ???

Hybrid's trivia works very good once you had made sure you have the right trivia room name and also the right trivia file on the trivia set up. I do that manually most the time . So give it a look to that.

Blonds are excellents you should get a plain mIRC version, add ClearMSN and start working on your own script so you can add the stuff in the way that you like in your room

if you want to use a nick name with simbols you will need to decode your nick that is all.

You are going to have to use punctuation whilst posting on forums, otherwise it could be a health hazard.
Theres a good chance someone could die if they happened to be holding their breath whilst reading a post like that!
Good point but I don't think this is an English Grammar lessons board. Especially with people from different countries and different dialects.
So I would suggest goin easy on the writing misstakes

I am having the same problem at first I thought it was going to be over after few hours but now I have been like that for about a week and still can get in.

T-G Chat Room

I think all the chat group in general is the same. Pretty much all the group are full with member but noone ever stop by the chat room. So that is not just at TG007 group.
I consider MSN group Chat a big failer.
There are also some groups with more than 20000 members and their room are always full with more than 45 people chating at once, But to keep a group like that the admin has to do a lot of spaming and advertising their group which is no fun at all
