  1. I don't think it looks any better in my opinion, it looks very old and outdated. The buttons are horrible and look very unprofessional, perhaps it's just the shape of them..

The orange is making my eyes hurt but it's cool that you can change the colours quickly at the top.

  2. The "japan thing" is not a new development. Southern Japan is located in the "Ring of Fire" About 90% of the world's earthquakes and 80% of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. Ten percent of the world's active volcanoes are found in Japan. Japan suffers earthquakes on a pretty regular basis compared to most areas of the world. They are the leading nation when it comes to building infrastructure to withstand earthquakes because they know they are going to happen. The earthquake in itself isn't what caused the devastation. It was the Tsunami wave. The earthquake occurred under water and while felt on land it did very little damage. The Tsunami is what caused all the death and destruction. There really is little you can do to protect yourself in the event of a Tsunami. In recorded history there have been at least 195 Tsunamis and i'm sure each time there was one, there were people that were quick to attribute it to some end of the world prediction. Yet we are still here. It doesn't take the Mayans or Nostradamus to predict bad things will happen if you live in an area where 90% of the world's earthquakes occur. Every part of the world deals with their own propensity for natural disasters. In my area it's tornadoes. You can only cheat the numbers for so long. The longer we are all around the chances very bad things will happen to people and areas increases. My town has never been hit by a big tornado. But we have had many many close calls. The law of averages will at some point win out and my town will probably get one. Could be tomorrow, a year from now, 20 years from now, or maybe never. It's like that with all natural disasters. Bottom line is earthquakes aren't a new occurance or even an isolated one in Japan.

Exactly. They are so used to it, when the actual earthquake was happening.. most of them were probably like "meh, another one. such an inconvenience to my day". Then you get all of the crazies and bible bashers saying the planet is going to disappear into oblivion at any second.

  3. Utter baloney. The bible also says "God" created the universe and placed Adam and Eve on Earth to populate it but we (and scientific evidence) all know that didn't happen (that story also promotes incest.. "Gods" beautiful work huh?).

2012 will be a year like any other year, unpredictable and eventful yet the planet will continue to turn and the sun will still shine.

The whole thing about the supermoon will have happened millions of times throughout history and we're still here aren't we? There is always some crazy fool thinking the world is going to end next year because the aliens will destroy us, because the planets align or the devil walks the earth.

  4. i was the greatest scripter of all time back in the old days, not bragging or anything but i was able to take many rooms from people running scripts like Kenobi, Hybrid Omega, Zyrus, Scriptinator, etc. with Viperbot so that should tell you something

Meh, that's nothing! I used webchat to take over rooms.

  5. Mac isn't better than Windows, and Windows isn't better than Mac. Both equally have their good points and bad points. I've owned several iMacs and Mac Book Pro's and the quality of the hardware is excellent and far exceeds any laptop/desktop quality. Although the downsides are the specifications - some PC's have double the specification of an iMac and is half the price. The hardware in iMac is difficult to upgrade and they don't make it easy to remove the cover to gain access to the components.

The good thing about any Mac is you're able to dual boot Windows on it, so you won't have to keep your PC for using those Windows-only applications, unless you want to.

OSX is extremely reliable and fast. I've gone months without the need for a reboot and has only ever crashed once in the years I've used it. If you've never used a Mac before, it's quite a jump moving from Windows to OSX and it does take some time getting used to it. Microsoft has it's own Mac version of messenger, as mentioned in a previous post.. and also has Office for Mac.

If you know someone who has a Mac, it would probably be best trying it out first to see what you think of it before purchasing - perhaps even visit an Apple shop to mess around with it. It would be a lot of money to waste on something you may not like using.

  6. Sorta off topic here.. but those who don't know, E is usually omitted from words ending in 'ing'.

    Example: "Jokeing" would become "Joking".

    Example: "Useing" would become "Using".

    Example: "Haveing" would become "Having".

    If in doubt, consult dictionary.com.

Sorry but that annoys me as much as finger nails screeching down a chalk board.

  7. Buzzen's website has too many bugs [in my opinion], it requires me to call upon a nasa scientist just to get signed in. Using a bot such as this, and still have the look and feel of webchat would make life far much easier, eliminating the hassle for using mirc also!

Can't wait to see more features :lmaojump:

  8. Nothing to loose anyway. If I get stuck in that endless reboot phase, atleast it'll give me an excuse to format (I've been lacking on the spring cleaning lately. My C drive looks worse than a crazy cat lady's home)

  9. lol both of you who cares if his staff is either caring enough or stupid enough to pay for some of his shit so be it free cash thats what i say but anyways just leave it cause it kinda embarrassing to both of you to act so immature about some bull shit thing on one persons site get over it!

    i agree and well said.

its just that dennies intellectual skills make this debate all the more funnier. its like hes trying so hard to be professional but cant quite grasp the concept of it.

it doesnt scream out professionalism when hes publicly arguing with someone else about his site - no wonder he hasnt got any chatters, poor thing. hes driving potential chatters away :(
