I agree, I have not been to a chat site in a while because really they seem old to me.. Back when I first got the internet and was like WOW CHAT!! I would chat for ages building my MSN up with random contacts (ah the good old n00b days). Though I was a bit behind I first got the internet in 2001, so I've only had the net for 5 yrs. These days I'm more focused on programming and webdesign, Instead of just chatting on MSN I post on NamePros, WHT, FWS, Digg. Really I think you get to a point where you think, 90% of these people in this chat room are so immature its not funny, they spam, flood, insult, abuse, flame... While on a forum the rules can be better enforced. How often do you see a chat room get flooded? compared to how often you see forum get flooded?

See... Now we're both happy... You don't have to worry about discussions on the legality of chat networks... And I don't have to keep posting arguing my point... Now if only the same logic was applied to my last post, then it never would have got anywhere.

You don't need to reiterate what I already know... And why should I go to these networks, when people like yourself just don't give a sh*t... One person cannot make a difference, but many CORRECTLY INFORMED people can. I didn't see any posts stating that these chat clones are illegal, but then again I have not been to these forums for a while so cut me some slack, maybe next time people could offer a nicer approach to informing the creator of a thread thats informing people about something that is illegal. Forums are meant for discussion, I'm sure if Ozzy really cares he would ban me for mentioning that something was illegal.

HAHA I was seriously just waiting for you to post that!! Also if you had this skill called "Reading" you would know it was never focused towards certain chat clones... It was focused towards all chat clones... May of had some ranting, but mostly informative. Its not just chat, its anyone who copy's and gains anything from someone else's work.

And how are you not helping people deciding to use an illegal service? Anyways we're not talking about Buzzen, unless all of a sudden Buzzen's definition is a MSN Clone aka using MSN-OCX. Look at the big picture there's more than Buzzen. Oh and for the record, I don't hate anyone, I'm merely pointing out thats its illegal...

I respect VSIXC, at least you have your own (non illegal) web chat. Not leaching off MSN Chat's success.

Buzzen comes up on this forum when mentioning illegal activities regarding the MSN OCX... I don't class that as a good thing.

Finally someone who agree's its illegal haha... I'm mainly trying to push the fact that what they are doing is illegal! Its like me providing pirated software? hey its good for the people receiving their getting something that would normally cost money and they are happy and would defend pirated software because of this, while the company lets say Microsoft or MSN loses tonnes of profit because of this... but eh the people receiving don't even know its illegal... so really the whole thing is screwed up... Eventually Microsoft or MSN will take one of these illegal recipients or providers and sue them until they have nothing else to lose... at which time people will know its illegal... Now if someone had spoken out about it being illegal in the first place it would save Microsoft or MSN time as well as really saving the recipients or providers of the pirated software thousands of dollars.

I agree, MSN says they care but I seriously doubt thats its high on there to-do list, unless Buzzen truly became popular.. Not popular.. I'm talking YouTube and MySpace popular! Also once again yes people get jealous, but some for the right reasons, if you have worked and made your own OCX, only to be beaten by the competition that uses an ILLEGAL copy of a web chat that only became so popular due to MSN Chat. 6000 users is not that many... If it were around 30k - 50k I would be impressed. I'm also sure if they received that many hits/users MSN would sue them for damages quite easily. Oh yeah.. I'll be ripping tg007 but calling it tg006 same design and all.. But I mean its alright? hell if it has less users there's less spam overall it will be better than the original.. After all if some people support me its legal according to some of you.. Oh by the way.. TG007 has a forum category called General Chat Talk.. And clones are a hot topic.. I'm sure if everyone agreed with you it would be in the rules not to talk about it? Anyways could post this on another forum, but this site is mostly directed towards MSN Chat. And I believe users of TG007 are more mature than other chat related forums, depending on what you discuss. We all realize MSN Chat is gone, I'm commenting on the number of clone sites that have popped up, that use the same graphics and the same web chat. I think the topic is avoided on this forum, the fact is that its illegal what they are doing not to mention its quite sad that people support such illegal actions and even defend them, even if they are trying to do a good deed, we have laws for reasons, we also have ethics for reasons.

Just stating my view, anyways ain't come across a post as direct as mine.

Was just reading a few threads regarding Buzzen & a few other chat networks.. Most of these people who start these threads are jealous that there little chat network did not take off, or they were kicked by an admin on there network etc... Although I cant blame some people for discrediting these so called chat networks, especially the ones that use the "MSN OCX" and gain a large member base due to this, its an insult to those who have worked there ass off to create there own web chat and site design. I don't know about you but I'm sick of MSN clones, if you cant even create your own web chat then why even start a chat network or chat site? and those who have MSN clone sites that use the same design as the old MSN Chat website... I mean come on, if this were some other site they would be reporting you to every one they could because thats what your doing your RIPPING a design! ohhh but MSN does not care? of course they don't there a multi BILLION dollar company why would they even bother your like a speck of dust in space compared to them. They already know what you refuse to believe? whats that you say? that your site sucks and you will never get anywhere. Now here's an idea, why not start a decent chat network, where you develop a better chat OCX, or even better not an OCX, a chat that is compatible with most browsers instead of the original "Only For IE" chat design. Oh and if owning a chat network makes you feel like a god I sure do hope you shoot yourself, why don't you actually provide a service without the intention of trying to take over the world! your not l33t your not c00l your not ub3r either. Oh and yes I am bored and just rambling about how MSN clone sites are stupid. Anyways know I'm going to be majourly flamed for this so bring it on haha.

realy dont like the msn ocx every server that runs it goes down every day and there just makeing more mistakes than msn did so its worse. I dont see why ppl dont leave it in the past there are way better webchats out there, just people are afraid to change.

Hey all, Mr_S has let me use his IRCd server, so thanks to all that offered sept team-omni, just got one thing to say, never trus team omni they want something for nothing i waz gonna go with them but they pissed of off so much and everyday they told me to make michio hurry up, hes a busy boy he has work then he has to work on da site for hours and the webchat so he dosent deserve ppl telling him to hurry up so just a lil advice team-omni GROW UP!! ~ScRiBbY

Thanks, but I realy need something a lil faster than a DSL ircd server. if anyone can even offer me cheep hosting I will be willing to pay a lil, but then again the webchat will allow tonnes of people to join your server so its good for you lol. the only other offer I have at the moment is Team-Omni and I realy don't think i wanna join with them...
