We’re going to be spending some time going through the TG007 download archive and updating or repairing files that may no longer work as expected.
Our main focus will initially be on ircWx-related downloads, especially older scripts, addons, and tools that may need adjustments to work properly with current versions of mIRC, IRCWX, or other services they depend on.
There are a lot of files in the TG007 archive, so this isn’t something we’ll be able to complete overnight. We’re also still actively working on the TG007 website itself, adding features, fixing bugs, and continuing to improve the site.
Is There Something You Want Us to Check?
If there’s a particular download you use—or one you’ve tried recently that no longer works—please let us know.
We can take a look at it and see whether it can be repaired, updated, or otherwise made usable again. We can’t promise that every old download can be fixed, but knowing which files people are actually interested in will help us decide where to focus our time.
This is especially helpful for older ircWx scripts and addons, since those will be receiving most of our attention to start.
We’d Love Your Help Too
TG007 has always been about sharing resources with the IRC community, and we’d love to see users start contributing again.
If you’ve created a script, addon, tool, source code project, or other IRC-related download, consider uploading it to TG007 and sharing it with the community.
The same goes for older downloads you’ve repaired or updated yourself. If you’ve fixed something that no longer worked, improved an older script, or made it compatible with newer versions of mIRC or IRCWX, we’d love for you to submit the updated version.
There are a lot of useful projects sitting on old hard drives and in personal collections that could still be useful to someone else. TG007 would like to continue being a place where that work can be preserved and shared.
It Will Take Some Time
TG007 has accumulated a lot of downloads over the years, and some of them were originally created for software, websites, or services that have changed significantly—or no longer exist at all.
We’ll work through things as time allows while continuing development of the rest of TG007.
If you find something that needs attention, let us know what file it is and what problem you’re having with it. And if you have something of your own to contribute—whether it’s new, updated, or repaired—please upload it and help us continue rebuilding the TG007 resource library.
Thanks for continuing to use TG007 and for helping us preserve, repair, and grow the archive for the IRC community.
