  1. As far as I know, the only current server that supports Admin Client is IRC7, although pretty much no one uses it on that network.

    - It still requires the workaround by Liam in the original post, as IRC7 only supports NTLMv1 at present

  2. Note: I hope this is in the right section!

    Hi Guys,

I've made a simple script that emulates the function of MSN Chat Control

I'm planning on releasing this very soon, and have tested it on several servers with success

The servers I have tested are:

    ;-- SCN: (http://www.scnchat.com/'>http://www.scnchat.com/)

    ;-- Sparkpea Chat Network: (http://www.sparkpea.net/)

    ;-- Community Chat Network: (http://www.ccnchat.com/)

    ;-- 4110 Chat Network: (http://4110network.com/)

    ;-- The Chat Net: (http://www.tcnchat.com/)

    ;-- Shateros: (http://www.shateros.com/)

    ;-- SCN Chat: (http://www.scnchat.com/)

    ;-- Extreme Chat Network: (http://www.e-chat-n.com/)

    ;-- ChatGroups.de: (http://www.chatgroups.de/)

    ;-- Omni-Chat (http://www.omni-chat.com/)

Are there any other clone websites currently active? I would rather have the connection working accross all servers when possible.

All the servers listed above, are working in this connection

Please provide a link to any others you may know, but it MUST work with the MSN Chat Control.

Why isn't Phreik listed? Currently, When I attempt to log onto Phriek, it tells me I am banned, this also happens from their website, Not sure why though.

    Cheers,

    JD

  3. Dont know if you are interested, But there is a small chat network over @ urchat.net.

I used to provide OzChat (which used the MSN OCX) but decided to kill it in the long run.

URChat dosnt use the MSN Chat Control but it has great helpful staff to assist and has nickname/channel registration.

You get to do what you want as long as you dont cause problems for others on the network. :)

  4. Ok, i have dwelled on the thought of getting mirc to connect to yahhoo chat befor, if ANYONE has a connection that currently connects to yahoo chat in dialog window etc (Well, i dont wanna learn the Y! protocol) then send it to me, i will be happy to convert this to the irc protocol (so it works normally with mIRC)

You can send it to JD [at] OzChat [dot] org

Oh, and has anyone noticed this is in the "MSN" section? lol

  5. FAHAD, that was a previous version of updater, Will work in less than mIRC 6.17, But also means that you see a serverwin popup everytime (which is annoying).

    People are asking...

    Q. Why does the certificate popup

    A. This is an SSL certificate, To allow you to choose whether or not you wish to trust MSN's passport servers, Just click always accept, and you shouldnt see it again

    Q. Why is the security certificate invalid

    A. The security certificate is valid, However, This is an error in mIRC 6.17 (Should be fixed in future versions)

    Q. Am i connecting to +0 as the certificate says

    A. Read above question

    Q. Can anyone see my password

    A. Not unless they are on your computer (Which they would have been able to see before). Please Note: This is more secure than ANY previous updater that did not use SSL

    Q. Will i have to download DLL's

    A. Possibly, alot of people allreaddy have the OPENSSL files on thier computers, if not, you will need to download OPENSSL, these are not mIRC DLL's.

    Q. Will this updater work in newer version of mIRC than 6.17

    A. I cant give a definate answer, I can not predict what khaled (mIRC's Author) will change, Allthough it is most likely this updater will

    Q. If it dosnt support, what shall Ido

    A. If not supported in future versions, I will make an IMMEDIATE update, and post it

Thanks to all who appreciate this work,

It has taken much time and effort :)

  6. SSL Updater

Works with the April 06 Login Server Updates.

Work-Around for mIRC Internal SSL Sockets Bug (/sockopen -e)

    Fast speed, Two sockets.

This does NOT connect via a proxy like the last, it connects directly to MSN and is Secure.

    Direct Link: http://jd.asdew.com/msn/sslupdatefix.mrc

So far, working 100% of the time.

You may need to rename the variables to make it work with your particular script.

You need mIRC 6.17 or above to run this script and the SSL Dll's (Link in script)

I understand why TGK took the last one off, but this one is fine :)

  7. lmao no, jd.davison-enterprises.com/msnupdate.php is the proxy...

Like i said, its up to you.

I got better things todo than steal passports

    The way it works

    Your Script > Davison-Enterprises (Standard)

    Davison-Enterprises > Login Server (SSL)

    Login Server < Davison-Enterprises (SSL)

    Davison-Enterprises < Your Script (Standard)

The only known current way to update a passport is to use SSL, However, mIRC does not support this at this time (6.17 SSL Support is broken, Will be fixed in next mIRC BugFix)

That leaves you with three options:

use nHTMLn (the very old way)

    use COM objects/dll

use a HTTP proxy. (such as this)

btw... of course that failed dude...

to get the tickets it needs email and password

Notice the , inside the $+(), that is the same as $+

  8. Hey i've just made a new passport updater

Its like a proxy to MSN Auth SSL servers.

Works on all passports, MSN, Hotmail, WebTV, Compaq etc.

    Please download it from:

    LINK REMOVED

Please note: You may need to change the variables to get this to work with your script

    The default variables are:

    %TICKET

    %PROFILE

    %SUBINFO

    %COOKIE

I've found its really fast and its all done in sockets...

Now proxy's are not always safe, But i can guarantee that this is, its up to you.

And yes... the subinfo part works properly :)

EDIT : this link has been removed as we are not sure of the safety of the site. The code has been reviewed, and although it may work, servers can easily log users' emails and passwords. Anyone who has tried this would be recommended to change their passwords right away. Even if this is secure, we at TG do not want to take risks by telling people to use proxy servers that we do not personally know about.
