Hi everyone , i hope ive posted in the right place , i know nothing about mIRC , i have a single onjoin line and it works, but i want to make a change and i dont really know how, ive made a guess and it doesnt work, all i want it to do is NOT post when A nick comes in. The line is .....

Hiya everyone,
Im putting together a list of commands that the roomies can use, but ive hit a snag, if i want to trigger off the room ive put,
on *:text:trigger:#: etc etc
and ive found for whisper is
on *:text:trigger:?: etc etc
is there a code for listening to both the chan and whisper, or am i going to have to put in 2 lines for each command, one for chan and one for whisper, lol i hope not?

I love the look of Zyrus but i cant get it to join a room.
all i have done is created and updated a passport and used the diff. ways to join, and always get the same answer as per below.
Any idea greatly appreciated.

Ok I have a basic Buzzen Client 1.0 script I can submit shortly and I can also submit some Buzzen icons and logos as well!!!

One problem with nearly all the scripts for buzzen is they cant import/export the accesslist :S
I would like to know how to add an import/export to the accesslist dialog?

if you have a question about specific thing like GD take it to the source TGK's website
IF everyone is asking about Buzzen, may be its a clue as to where ppl are looking to go.
Do you support scripts etc, or do you just support a platform like your own chatrooms, and if thats the case, WHY are you supporting ppl on MSN etc??
I also want to know if DogCollar is going to be modified for the TG rooms only, or will there be other flavours such as Buzzen, or what would be even better to have GD so i can use any connection.

Hi yall
In GD, in Choke Chain Protection, there is a section specific to script detection and kicking. Roses and I have both checked all of the detection options, and set up to kick scripts. But scripts still slip in! We have a friendly nic that brings her script in at will, and neither of our GD scripts detect or kick her.
So my question is this - is there an effective way to detect when a script enters the room? If so, can that be set in GD?

I have the same problem, GD5 did detect most scripts and most webTV, but recently i have installed GD5 again, with all the updates, and it doesnt see any script or webTV.
Dunno whats up right now but any suggestions are greatly appreciated

We run trivia in our rooms and if someone comes in with a Nick starting in Bar like BartMan, you get a reponse like this, all the time...

I imagine its not the only one and if i had Apocrypha i would get a different message,
Is it possible to have a checkbox in the Biblebot settings for turning off all the remarks like that , or say the testing for it?

In the clone detect, can the KICK be made selectable, at the moment you cant have the clone detect on without it being armed as well and it has already kicked by mistake??
....
With the clone detect, anyone in a script at user can see the nick/gates, all clone detect does is table the info, given we are really not seeing anymore that i can already, can this please be turned on for users ASAP please ???

Everyone likes the clone detector,
1/ the fact that you have that extra info of past nicks by the user @ join
2/ that you gather a database of everyone that has entered the room
BUT
We cant have any of this unless we are prepare to put up with erronious kicking of our users, because the whole process is linked to an unconditional kick.
So i dont use it at all, i have chosen to miss out on all the data and not kick my friends, and i can report that others who want it also dont use it because of the kick issues, they all have kicked too many friends and dont want it to happen again.

I did the latest update for the AOP and then went and took a look, i love what you have done with it, well done (Y).
I have a minor problem i hope you can help with, all my settings in "Level Command" are all gone except for "global Admin", its going to be a pain putting it all back.
Is it possible to have a default button on each level to reload the data?

Opening someone else's email account without their consent is "Invasion of Privacy" and is against the law, you broke the law of your own country. You used the account to steal someone elses Group that they have worked hard to grow over years, if it was your car or whatever you would call it theft, because your doing the thieving you want to say God told you to do it. God has His 10 Commandments, HIS LAW and it says not to steal, your trying to tell me that God told you to steal and break His own LAW, He wont tell you to do that as much as tell you to steal someones car.
I actually placed a disclaimer on the site so that people are aware that despite the name, we are not an officially authorized church site.
The Group was created by Texasgal a life long SDA church member, the name of the group is the name of the church, all the people that were owners in the group are SDA. We had every right to have that Group name, the headoffice of SDA had been approached about it, i had spoken to people in the GC personally about it, and the fact is we dont need approval to have the Group name.
You have put in the disclaimer because you are NOT SDA, you hold many fundamental views totally opposite to SDAs , when you took control of the room you not only made 4 non SDAs the only owners, one is totally anti - SDA and was banned for using foul language.
Your disclaimer is an attempt to say it isnt a SDA site anymore, isnt that right Gwen, its Gwens site now, dedicated to Gwen.

P.S.: As for Gwen supposedly taking the room well I've been cloned before. It is easy to clone people, and cause havoc. So, I think Gwen was cloned as well.

Ive known Gwen for over 5yrs, i know its Gwen, we have had long discussions about this, its no clone, she has lost it big time.
We now have Manager accounts for our new forum that are never used for anything else, never put into a room and never in a script, which is how i "think" she got the password.

We found out who hacked our Group, it was Gwen who wrote Christian Ethics HAHAHA what a joke :S
the password was never given out and Gwen is proud of it and happy to tell people she did it.

Hiya everyone,
Recently someone was able to hack their way into our MSN Group and make themselves Manager, then made everyone else a member, then took control of the room.
Even tho MSN have information that shows clearly who the creator of the Group is, and the creator dealing with MSN, we still have no satisfaction. The word around the traps is you dont get your group back, such is life. So if you have spent yrs building a group and want to make it harder to lose, try these its what we have picked up so far.
Have a minimum of Managers, even just one or two.
-The Manager account is for the forum only, it is NEVER to be used in a room or a script.
-To bring a script in to populate the acceslist, in the forum set the user to manager, bring in the script, and return the user back to member.
It seems the problem is hyjacking the Managers account, so dont let it near a room or script.

One of the rooms i support has been taken over, for the moment
, all the hosts are currently at user, me included. This greatly reduces the functions of GD5, no script detect, no biblebot, no clone detect, etc. I understand the reasoning as to why.With the clone detect, anyone in a script at user can see the nick/gates, all clone detect does is table the info, given we are really not seeing anymore that i can already, can this please be turned on for users ASAP please ???

I tried just now to connect and got these messages,

Looks like someone has changed things again and its time to turn off auto update to last as long as possible.
EDITED Ive kept on trying different ways to update with no go, reloaded it to test something and it worked :S :S :S

Is there a way of turning the Biblebot off without having to unload it?

I have tried ticking no boxes, or just one box and the Biblebot keeps posting in all rooms.

I worked it out, if i dont set the protection group then the Biblebot doesnt reply to anyone in the rooms but still posts if i request it in any room, once a protection group is set, the Biblebot does reply to others in that protection group only, and still posts in any room if i request it, excellent ty.

Ive loaded the Biblebot and found i can ask for a verse from another user but not myself, is that right? How can i have it so i can request verses too?

@ST4 : yes i've noticed that it can be a bit of a pain as well, i need to modify it a bit so that it has kickable selection, but for now it wont have it till i get some time to put it in.

I was thinking about this as we have users/hosts/owners changing nicks via scripts all the time, a "General kick everything" except for AOP would stop all types of cloning in the room and protect the hosts/owners as long as the AOP is up to date, but we allow cloning and scripts soooooo,
Is it possible to allow cloning in general but not of a owner/host nick, so ppl can play with their 101 nicks and if two are common nothing happens, unless its a owner/host nick, THEN they are kicked?

Sorry i was thinking more of just a simple list in the Biblebot that doesnt look at the AOP at all.
1. TGK Biblebot
2. St FredBear Biblebot
3. ST4 Biblebot
4. ETC Biblebot
Everyone has the same list, TGK is the designated Biblebot for the room, as long as its in the room no one else posts, TGK moofs
and now when St FredBear see the command for a verse and checks to see if TGK is in the room , sees he isnt and posts the verse, all the rest down the list still hold off, the rule for every Biblebot then is ONLY until everyone above you in the list has left the room can you post. Having it in the Biblebot also means the feature is part of the addon and not reliant on the script its in. This does depend on everyone in the list always having the Biblebot turned on, but thats why they are on the list -

Many times ive been in a room with a few Biblebots where someone requests a verse and the room is flooded with multiples of the same verse, i had a thought id like to share.
If the Biblebot had a list of the other Biblebots by gate, where my Biblebot is somwhere in the list, if any Biblebot above me in the list is in the room i dont post, if non then i do, with an enable for if you want to use it or not.
Then every Biblebot in the room could be turned on all the time and only get one replying to the request. It also means if the desigated Biblebot moofs your not down till it gets back or someone realises, the next Biblebot automatically takes over (Y)

I love the clone detector it works very well ty, but it has an unconditional kick if i use it, i would love to be able to have it in just monitor mode and have a tickbox to enable the kick if i wanted it, like the ban, is that possible?

Ive been using the Biblebot addon and there are versions that are red letter in the scrpits room screen but when posted is in my normal font and colour, i cant find a setting anywhere to change it, is there one or is it possible?
