using the ocx obviously is just like pirated windows, givin the chance for microsoft to jump on an obvious point of it they will, but alot of the time they wont do alot besides tell you its wrong and expect you to respect them.

I'm not forgetting anything. Chat may not matter what server its on ... do you see me bashing ircd or ircx, no. Chatting maybe trust, trust is respect, respect is asking msn to use their intellectual property, which they would say no - so you think to yourself, okay I won't use it out of respect, which all these chat clones don't do - this is my point. I'm not acting like I own VSIXC, I have respect for IRCX because he made it from the ground up and it isn't best looking but it does the job perfectly, far more efficiently then a rip of msn. Why do i keep talking about it ?, because people are talking about it like the idea of this is thick as mud when it isn't and i'm just trying to state the clear point.

Well the OCX isn't to do with MSNs client-end T&C so the EULA would be useless. Charging a fee wouldn't be right because its their propiatry software thats made for the "MSN Chat Service" and nothing else.

MSN will either conitue hosting the ocx for archive legacy reasons or they will take it down and if any website hosts it themselfs they might get a C&D notice or somthing maybe.

It's simply the root of the problem why there is conflict. Some say it's illegal to use the OCX, some say it's a proof that lack of programming knowledge can't make their own and is a "noob" website. Others say it's good because it's what they are used to. My personal opinion is I just don't really like "chat sites". I can harass x-fusion on messenger as good as I can on here and on VSIXC.

not everyones is asking questions but alot are asking about phreik and buzzen support for TG does not support because they are msn clones. If people are looking to go there great but ozzy and err0r have clearly stated they do not support them! so here is not the place to ask questions about it. I myself personally dont support IRC or MSN chat so im not support anyone on any platform. I am marely stating the facts that have been repeated over and over again that ozzy and err0r have stated and are probably getting sick of telling people.

mirc isnt an unlimited code source there's many ways and styles of coding it but the library is limited, chances are globally someone at some stage has the same code as another person without knowledge of it because they've both coded it the same. This happens alot in the programming world, people have learnt to live with it specially .NET developers. mirc coders need to too and stop acting like its propiatry.

msn cdhat will never change people cant get access to +o or +q (host or owner) unless they are givin the pass or are granted access by another person you cant just go into any room you feel and just +q yourself coz you just added yourself to owner access its impossible on msn only people with the ability to do that is server admins and ops ie guides sysop and admin people cant just do it there is no ability to do this in irc dominator i believe there are takes in it for when you get granted access to take rooms but thats exactly the same as most old and some current msn scripts have are takes generally made for test rooms to play with only idiots go into peoples normal rooms and do it to ruin them besides that it has normal functions ability to host and manage the room.
