I am also bored with the whole thing, in the main i have stopped reading the posts. In my opinion it has became way to personal, and not a general discussion. No-one cared about clone sites using the ocx before. My final note on this topic will be......its more 'sour grapes' from some, than constructive critisism.

I forget to see when this became a personal vendeta forum......guys, i know your gripes but take up your personal stuff with the persons involved. TG is a forum for people to share ideas (maybe check that with ozzy or err0r) but im sure they would agree.

I dont see what all the gripes and fuss is about, there are lots of sites which use the ocx and no-one gripes about them really. If there are issues with the use of the ocx or butterfly or whatever then thats for the site owners to sort out. Why people are getting involved with it is beyond me, it wont effect me, you or the next guy...so who cares

Ok maybe its time to look beyond the ocx and flash chats and develp a whole new look, im sure its well over due.

As i said, maybe people are working on new things, but in life things dont happen over night. I was merely stating facts as i see them and not turning this into a 2 way discussion or conversation. I dont condemn what your saying, just ask you to keep an open mind :-)

Going back to basics, a website is a concept, a chatsite is a website which has chat incorperated, so i suppose it could be considered (regarding the ocx) why re-invent the wheel. However, i still think a fresh approach would be good. VSIXc has this, i should have said also.

Maybe some people are working on other ideas now msn is closing!!

I cant really see msn bothering about the ocx, as it will be no threat or direct competition with them weather ppl use it or not. However, the only thing i would say about it is obviously there will be no updates to it.

I wouldnt get to over zealous lol, im sure the decision to close msn chat was quite a few months ago lol, but i like the enthusiasm lol

I would just like to add my opinion to something, it appears shagman is only replying to posts about buzzen in a negative way (ive read all his posts) and in my opinion most forums are support forums, not have a dig about every post forums. If you you a major gripe with an issue or person, take it up with them and dont put everyone else though your bitterness.!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, most people dont like change, or cant get used to somthing different, which is why so many people like buzzen. I also know that for a vast majority of MSN GN users, it wasnt about chatting, it was about splitting rooms, and trying to be the best. As for scripts, ive just made my own which i have just given for beta testing, so i see no need to rip or use other peoples. I WAS a guide on another server, but found it was run by kids trying to do something they couldnt. Im quite happy to be just a chatter for now and see what pans out in the long term. Thats my tuppence worth.
