The only time it actually sets the %playa.playlist var is in the changing of the playlist dropdown or add directory. New install if you just add song No variable for %playa.playlist is set so it just uses playlist instead of playlist1 and won't play the file. Maybe set it on initial load or on play button click to check if the variable exists. Look forward to any updates.. well done so far.

heya error... yeh long playlists will be worked on... the playa.playlist var is done that way.. well sorta.. $iif(%playa.playlist,$v1,1).. yeh i coulda just set the darn thing to one LOL.. do need to catch up with you at some point.. some people are having probs with html player for radio not showing which has me beat

Found a couple of issues. Main issue is large playlists. May want to think of staggering the while loop getting songs. Also you should default the %playa.playlist variable to 1 if the variable is null. Until you actually use the dropdown for playlist the variable isn't set.
