  1. Can we get an update on modes for IRCwx? CHANMODES=Qqohv,k,l,pPsmtufFwWxrRade" Some of the chanmodes I've set as staff and doesn't seem like they work.
  2. If your script isn't halting the default logon handshake send by mIRC, it might still get the "If you don't auth/register" message.. Make sure you are using on ^*:Logon:*: with ^ to connect.
  3. Using anyone's script for chat at any chat site is at "user's risk". Staff on a chat site can't monitor what a script does. They also do not screen each script made available for each chat site before it is approved for use. If certain things are reported to chat staff that are causing a threat to the chat service, its users and its staff members we will do what we can to resolve the issue and work with err0r to have it removed with evidence. And I'm sure err0r would agree, if a threatening script was found that is made available on TG007 that violates any TOU or TOS made, he would remove it. ircWX as a whole can't be held accountable for indiscriminate script usage or writing. Your chat room is just that... Yours. If you want someone banned from your room that you are having difficulty banning, you need to let staff know through appropriate channels, you can't however expect the same in other rooms you join as a member. The superowner has sole discretion on the banning problem.
  4. Totally understand where you're coming from Jeremy. Chat will be around when you make it back!
  5. Sounds like an error I'd get if I'm connecting to a port not meant for chat like 6667... Not sure what port Koach uses but another idea to check.
  6. Yeah thats odd bud... One thing I did notice, is that it looks like Evolution's server does not send the [style] font code from web chat... I don't know if Duke is using an updated version of IRCwx or what... I was using mIRC 7.52 as well.. So check mIRC version... In any case, when I was testing Shannons on TEXT line nothing was being sent to server to reply anywhere on that line of code that was edited. It was only after I deleted/saved and re-entered the line did it work, so I don't know WTH lol Sorry man!
  7. err0r, yes, I copied and pasted her code from here to try it and slowly disseminated the code, changed the command to something else etc and it didn't work until I deleted the entire line and put it all back in again. Like I said, I think it had something to do with the #. Johnson, I tested the ghost kicker, my msn weather, and other remote commands and some menu options. They all worked fine.
  8. That code worked for me... For some reason Shannons didn't. However, when I wrote another on *:TEXT:*Testing 2 3:#: { /msg # reply } it worked right away. Then I continued to disseminate Shannons code even down to just a * left, and mIRC still wouldn't reconize anything. So then, I re-typed it out and it worked. So I'm not sure if mIRC at times isn't recognizing the # as a channel at times or what. Even $chan wasn't working in Shannons original code. Personally, I think it has to do with how mIRC is filling the # and $chan values with existing code, so I'm not sure what is going on... Anyway, hope this info helps.
  9. 2 things on this particular code. 1 make sure you have "#welcome end" below any groups. 2 Make sure you don't have another on *:JOIN:#: in the same file. mIRC reads events in files from the top down. If you want to give me evolutions server info, I can go there and see if I can troubleshoot the problem. Typically code is more mIRC specific across the same server protocols not code specific so yes, the above should work as long as it has a #welcome end under it. Also, check /debug @debug and see if it is sending anything to the server, if so, it IS server side, if not, then it is code side. (Y)
  10. What type of server is Evolution?
  11. Yeah... I've been so used to referring to mIRC's help.. Thanks chief! (Y)
  12. Yeah perfect. Do you have any advice?
  13. err0r, would there be a way to make the DCX files that are required to utilize DCX and build controls "Sticky" downloads so we don't have to find the correct files to download? Thanks in advance bud! I have a project I want to get started in, its going to be kind of massive when its all done and said! 🙃
  14. ROFL Man, I was hoping for a bit more love on that!! But you're right... Just too redundant for me lol ?
