    Windows 8

I used it once while testing a laptop at the store... I couldn't even figure out how to get to the calculator?? :\ I was very confused. I prefer my old clunky desktop UI
  3. I am unbelievably impressed with IE9. However, the more I use it, the more I feel like it's almost a copy of Chrome.
  4. I've seen it done too. It seems to be done with all those old school mIRC chatters back when mIRC was just being released. I'm not sure how it's done and I haven't opened mIRC in a loong time let alone the manual but perhaps look up stuff about the DCC Sends or maybe the /play command? Or maybe even a /splay?? But I think /splay (if that's even the right command) just plays music locally on your own machine. Sorry I can't be more help :S
  5. really off topic lol.... Income is limited for them too. Living Paycheck to paycheck.
  6. That's going to shoot prices out the roof. :\ As if phones weren't expensive enough lol
  7. paying someone for mIRC coding? ...haha
  8. I've never liked the fonts associated with aligned themes. I saw an aligned theme that uses a basic font like arial or something and it looked real nice. I forget where I saw it though... if it was here or over at ms.org orrr some other place lol edit; nevermind, found it ! lol Exonyte made it. http://www.mircscripts.org/screenshots/1670.png
  9. I hate threads like this... it just makes me want to pick up mIRC scripting again where I have fun with it for like 3 days and then I put it down for another year or two lol Great looking scrips, though, everyone!!
  10. Probably just the aliens...
  11. The best thing to do is to do your research (which you are) and contacting admissions advisors/reps from the school you're looking at and ask them these questions specifically. They're there to help and answer any of your questions and they would be the ones who should definitely know all your answers.
  12. Well what industry are we talking about here? Because like I said in my industry, a degree means nothing. 9 times out of 10 the employer in the Animation industry does not look at education or if you graduated or what GPA you held in college.... So I don't believe it is really important to graduate depending on the industry. What industry are we talking about here? If it's like insurance or accounting or something like that then I would believe it to be really important lol
  13. Depending on what job market you're looking at you may or may not need to graduate. For example. You want to be a doctor? You better have a freaking diploma or good luck getting hired! As for my case, I'm going to school for 3D Character animation. Interesting enough, animation companies don't care if you have a diploma or certificate or anything like that. The only thing they care about is the quality of work you do and what you can bring to them. Most people, however, in the industry do go to school to get their feet on the ground and learn the basics. From there, they just practice at home and keep applying for jobs. So all in all, I don't think it's REQUIRED to graduate depending on the job market. I wish more people would understand this
  14. Ahhhh that sucks, Koach. Hope they get the issue resolved in LA ASAP. I'm sure they will!
  15. LOL! When is it going to get popular??? haha... I'm just joking... I really should stop
  16. But Firefox is better...............*begins the battle of Opera vs. Firefox* ...I'm just kidding by the way! Let's not have a FF vs. Opera thread lol
  17. I just have AVG and I call it good. Never really had any problems.

    Hd Ready

HD and 16:9 Ratio are completely different. HDTV is a High Definition Television capable of showing 1080p footage. This is done through the HD technology. Also, you *MUST* use an HDMI cable to transfer this signal from a HD receiver to an HDTV. Otherwise, you will see SDTV (Standard Definition Television) Standard Definition is transferred through Composite, Component, and S-Video cables. None of these cables are capable of transferring an HD signal. So let's throw some of these into examples. I pay for HD programming. I have an SDTV. I hook up my HD receiver to my SDTV with a Composite/Component/S-Video and I see a standard definition picture. I pay for HD programming. I have an HDTV. I hook up my HD receiver to my HDTV with a Composite/Component/S-Video and I see a standard definition picture. I pay for HD programming. I have an HDTV. I hook up my HD receiver to my HDTV with an HDMI cable and I see a high-def picture. Keep in mind: Just because you have a big 'flat screen' television, it is not HD ready. Just because your TV can change to 16:9 aspect ratio, it is not HD ready. Just because you hook up a HD receiver to a SDTV, you are not seeing Hi-Def picture.
  19. Did you fall in the toilet??
